Population Debate
In the article Population Debate population debate it talks about the contrast between some countries being encouraged to have children and other to reduce. Countries like Japand and Singapore are under the replacement rate, whereas China and Brazil are above. It talks about how some countries are against family planning becase of religious beliefs. I feel these countries should still allow family planning. Family planning should respect religuous beliefs, and not force them to have small familes if that is against their beliefs. Though I think they should still be educated about their option and have the right to use contraceptive like birth control, or abortion if they choose. The article also talk about how one can't predict the future population by the current population growth because that dosn't take into consideration people intelligence and rational planning. I agree, I think that countries will make an effect to cut down the birth rate, lowering the estimated population. Though I believe despite this, the population will still grow at a rapid rate.
