In this video it talks about the affect of the growing population. It shows how rapidly the population is growing, and that it is only going rise faster in the next 40 years.  It looks at the population and 2025, and from their research 1-3 people will be affected by water shortages, and it will take double our current food producton to deef the the population. Producing this much food will cause even more damage to the enviorment. They bring up the idea of "instead of controlling the enviorment for the benift of the population, maybe we should control the population to ensure the survival of our environment." I believe this is what we need to do on a global scale by using family planning, education and empowerment of women. Though LDN can't do this by theirselves, they need help from developed nations to get it done quickly.
